St Georges School – Blackpool

Changing an old and tired sports hall into a modern and welcoming library was the aim of this particular project at St. George’s. Central to its success was undoubtedly the bespoke S-shaped seating with built-in book shelves – in white with Mountain Ash surfacing – creating inviting areas for both shared and individual learning. Custom-fitted floating and ordinary shelving were also installed along the walls for further book displays. A stunning and vibrant green and blue seating / study area was also created and installed in a separate part of the school, really making the most of the available space and offering pupils a comfortable and inspiring environment to study in.
